In conversation with….!

Samuel Richman, a man who was best known in his vicinity as the “statue of virtue” had reached a level of saturation in life. Once upon a time, the person of high spirits who was perpetually guided by impeccable morals had currently attained despondency and lost belief in the path of morality. Being an ex-army himself, the death of his sons, who were also soldiers, had challenged his belief in fighting for the motherland as he had realized drawing borders served no purpose when the entire planet was given to mankind. His strength was halved when his dutiful daughter turned physically blind, surrendering to domestic violence. For him, it was another moment of cruelty triumphing over kindness. The last ounce of spirit left in him was once again faded the minute he lost his support system, his better half in an air crash while returning from pilgrimage.

One afternoon mentally broken & tired Samuel unconsciously slipped into deep sleep which paved way for an unusual dream involving almost an impossible conversation with the ultimate question as well as the only answer!

Sam: Isn’t it sheer sadism to already fix a man’s destiny but still give him brain, heart and emotions? What pleasure do you seek by creating multiple mirages and smokescreens here? Don’t tell me, you had no legit reason to conceive this colossal marvel, “the material world”, but to simply play by making us dance to your whims and fancies! And on the parallel side, we are all living in our own fantasies not being aware of your insensitive game. Do you even understand, the marks that your actions leave are incorrigible? What made you create evil when you wanted only good? Does this entire arrangement make any sense to you at least?

The maker: Oh my Good God! Calm down Sam! What’s making you lose your cool? What have I done for you to behave this way? Tell me if you are in need of anything?

Sam: Just look at that! You certainly need either of these, an Oscar for phenomenal acting or a check up from the doctor to know whether you still have it or lost it.

The maker: I am open to both my lord! Now will you please cut the suspense and tell me your problem?

Sam: Wow! Are you serious? Suspense! Does that even exist with you when you are the reason for all the happenings? Your statements are so paradoxical and so are your makings.

The maker: Fine! Your dialogue shall soon turn into monologue in a couple of minutes because I‘ll be taking leave if you are going to pull this on forever.

Sam: Huh! Right! Forever! You have two trump cards in your game and that is forever and never ever and you throw it on your creations’ based on your mood swings. Carelessness at its perfection!

The maker: Now you really are testing my patience old boy.

Sam: Oh really! That is something I’ve learnt from you. Now listen with whatever limited patience left, Grandmaster. Yes! Let me call you that for time being, as you feel you are the only one and second to none in this game. And Of course! Why won’t you be? You cast the spell, make us run pell-mell, then say we dint ring the bell to come out of the shell and sometimes even hell.

The maker: Arrgghhh! God! Where are you? Oh no! why am I summoning myself? Dear why won’t you stop dragging and spill the beans!

Sam: I am happy that I at least triumphed in making you feel the desperation to know the unknown and weight of the wait. After all that I and the likes of me have undergone in this world created, instigated and managed by YOU, managed? Sorry to say, damaged, it’s time to bring you face to face with the glitches and perplexities in your so called masterpiece.

Before that, how should I address you...? God, the creator/maker, the ultimate who issues the ultimatum? Whatever you are, for me you shall just be the reason behind everything in the material world and everywhere. So let me stick with, “the maker” since you “make up” and “make believe” whole of the stuff here.

The maker: Old boy! I know you’ve experienced something terrible which is the reason for your rebuke. I understand things are tough here. But tough things help you learn and evolve. You need to patiently wait mate, that’s your job.

Sam: Who asked you for this job? Did I? Also, what did you say; learn and evolve? What for, when the finale of both an evolved man and that of an untaught is the same - “Death”?

The reason for my behavior is your unreasonable actions. I shall never endorse the cult of hailing you supreme any further. I am simply tired of being dramatically grateful to you. Why should I thank you for anything or even be sorry, when I have never once asked you to bring me here nor you’ve have asked my permission to place me here. You want me to learn lessons? What use are such lessons of, if it doesn’t better the process? The learned keep learning while the indulgent keep indulging. Didn’t you consider amending this whole set up anytime?

The maker: Dear Sam…..you shall understand everything in the end. I have no intention of keeping you away from your share of understanding. Believe me and just wait.

Sam: In the end? What is the need to even understand then? Just let it be.

You are audacious enough to not care about the concerns of your creations. You alone create both the person and the purpose and expect a high class impeccable conduct in return. Somebody of your caliber should know, anything one sided is frivolous. I understand, nobody is perfect including you which you need to accept and consider our criticisms, not for the worse but for the best manifestation of your own intentions. We cannot spot you through the naked eyes, once again designed by you. Isn’t it your duty to make us feel your presence through your actions, not all the time, but at least when it’s much needed for the health and good spirits of your colossal establishment? This is a serious concern. There’s lack of timely reassurance from your side to keep us walking in the path of fairness.

The maker: Oh dear! I don’t deny your allegations; correspondingly, I don’t accept it completely as well. Just stay patient and seek more experience to handle life. Once you possess that, it should suffice to make you sail through son! Once again, let me tell you, I want you to wait mate.

Sam: The good is failing and you say, seek more experience for the ease of sailing.  Tell me one thing, for how many days have you lived a life of a man? In a week’s time, I’ll be turning 84, am sure there’s no need to remind you of that and I’ve had enough seeking. Let me make it clear! It’s not a blame game. I just want you to get the facts of this world right for better and better late than never.

First tell me! Who manufactured “the man and everything else”? You are the architect behind this bulbous build. You alone posses the fuse. We surrender to you out of immense reverence. We believe that you uphold the path of virtue over anything opposite. But since millions of generations, many enlightened men who lived here have had ample opportunities to feel that you have diverted from the path and the oath to guard the virtue. Victory of virtue holds the faith intact. But here, the most sincere are encountering unjust circumstances. They are dying yet not letting their faith in you die. They are losing their grip over life, but never once are riding on a guilt trip for trusting you. Where are you yet?

The maker: Mr. Samuel Richman….Why do you think I am listening to you for this long? It’s only because, you are one of my finest creations living without expectations. I do adore my creations’ sincerity.

Sam: True! That’s the reason you keep expecting more from those expecting nothing in return for their sincerity. Are you even aware about how it is to be pushed from thousands of feet above, without a harness or a parachute to hold on to? That is exactly what is happening with the fair ones here.

You withdraw the nicest of the nicest things from this world, be it men, moments or any other thing; when that’s what is much needed for the better. However, when such a thing happens, many take comfort in believing that “the maker” desires the best of the world as well. Really! Is that true? Are you by any chance secretly building a whole new world somewhere by filtering the best from this world? If that’s your agenda, at least convey it in some way……that should be enough for the fair to cope with the unfair accordingly? That way, fighting to get through your tests will prove to have some meaning.

The maker: Hey! Hold on Old fellow, those are the various ways I consider, to put your faith and grit to test. Anyway, your feedback is making me understand quite a lot of stuff. I actually like your demonstration. Go on.

Sam: Whether you like it or not, I will go on. Primarily, be sure that I am not at all suggesting you to not test our faith. My only request is that; don’t test it to an extent of putting off the “fire of faith” itself. Of course! We understand that we are here to take up your challenges and conquer ourselves, but let the challenges be fair. By fair I mean, whatever the challenge may be, may the fair win. That way your creations shall never see the need to indulge in the opposites of virtue. Don’t you feel you shall be able to achieve better orderliness by doing this?

The maker: That is fair enough!

Sam: Isn’t it?

From the cradle, I have been given to understand that, virtue is principal and that alone should be our principle. But there are others of the same world who believe, virtues lead to burial and not survival. Who created us, who created them? We are all circling in the vicious circle of rights and wrongs without a definite definition for the same. We all perceive everything based on our own intelligence, which is again received at your mercy. My share of aptitude received from you has allowed me to become aware that we are circling in the tornado of right and wrong when you also know the reality is right and left as each of your creations are different. Again, who created the difference?

The maker: Sam! You are not getting the point. Why will I create things with the same attributes? Will that have any servable purpose? I might as well not create anything!

Sam: Oh! the baker, sorry the maker…….I understand that you want your creations to be different from each other, but do not desire for such a variety that may cause an irreversible ecosystem involving contradiction of morality. Again, does that engage any servable purpose? You cannot wish to sculpt your world into a mosaic of good and evil because it cannot and should not co-exist. It is sheer sacrilege of your own ultimate purpose.

The maker: Evil is must to recognize the good. Without opposites how can you choose the right? Opposites aid the process of evolution.

Sam: This is making me impatient now. You loathe all those who take the aid of evil to win over anything. Then what are you up to?

Don’t you get this simple logic? Just think. Among eight planets, you have simply chosen planet Earth for your worldly operations. Aren’t all of us carrying on with our lives here without looking for any other alternatives as there’s none? Akin to that, if you had simply infused the entirety with only the good, every being would have just followed the same path as there would be no room to look for an alternate choice. Keeping a malicious alternative is the cause for the malfunction. Any other way, but for this, would have made better sense.

The maker: Now what do you want me to do?

Sam: He who ties the knot alone knows to untie it. You are the developer of this entirety; everything is in your hands. If you program the world in a way where only the morality is held high and anything against it is detested, why will anybody find the requirement to indulge in immorality? Now when a principled being understands that come what may, victory is only for the virtuous, he fights above his strength to make the good win, But now the virtuous are losing the will, spirit and meaning in fighting against the bad  as you are taking forever to shower your grace on them. How should we motivate the self to even breathe our next breath in such state of affairs?

But …..there must be some cause for your indulgence in seeking the thrill by allowing the evil into the world. By any chance, did you assume that your creations would never value or worship you, if you had not designed an ecosystem of extreme contradictions and in-orderliness? Because, that thought straightaway demeans the grandeur of this entirety along with your unparalleled intelligence which is regarded to be the ultimate. Wasn’t your magnificent manifestation, “the universe” enough reason to adore you? Do you have any justification or explanation for the same?

The maker: Now this is called crossing your limits.

Sam: Fine! I take back those words. Still! For your assistance, we have a simple saying “charity begins at home”. If you know what I mean!

The maker: Sam! Trust me…That was a lot at once! Anyway I do appreciate your sincere intentions in bringing me up to date with the affairs and defects of the material world.

But let me assure you, I am not lost nor have I lost it. Just as you stated earlier, it is impossible to spot me through the naked eyes, similarly it is not possible to comprehend my actions through your naked brains. The capacity is limited to the extent of my grant son! So while you are still there, take it easy and simply experience the magical world but refrain from understanding the same; that makes all the difference. I’ve placed you there to experience and not to understand. To understand, you need to look things from my angle and that shall be possible after you complete your tenure there. So wait to witness the great!

Also the charity has already begun at my end since the very beginning. The ‘just’ are no doubt put first. The rest is barely and purely based on your trust. I repeat once gain……. Just wait!

And while waiting….. Do feel the fun and believe me, by that, I do not intend any pun!

Sam: Dear maker! I’ve got nothing left to say or argue. You have once again made me feel helpless while you assume to have been helpful. Fine! So you say we need to wait, to experience its worth and not weight. Your word is my order mate! As if we are left with any other choice.

A Simple thought to live well

Think simple to live well.

And just wait. Because, seems like it’s all worth the wait! Anyway there’s nothing to lose, isn’t it mate!
