Arrrrrrrrrrggghhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah I second all your opinions, the mention of so many puzzles instantly boggled my mind too.   However, hearing the above conversation that was going on between my father, who was in his own league of discussing life’s philosophy and brother who has taken life as a serious project and is writing a thesis on the same, stirred up a sense of perplexity in me, which meant, it was time for a sea depth thinking, t...

Lessons from the returning souls

Few years back, when my life had thoroughly bottomed out, leaving me in a befuddled state of mind, viewing everything happening to me with an infant’s maturity, I felt immensely helpless and uneasy. Like Buddha, I too was dumbfounded and was in instant need of a Bodhi tree for self-introspection that would enlighten and persuade me to accept the reality and feel comfortable in the skin of my own situation. On the flip-side, this surely has given the whole of human clan the time to reconsider and rethink about certain practices & concepts, better understanding of which can help us regenerate peace & harmony throughout the world. Now let us take it one at a time: Entire world is locked down as this invisible pathogen has fixed its focus on defeating the humans- is having a tag of super power, developi...

In the arena of life, we put in all our might and fight for the fulfillment of our goals & desires with the intention of achieving imperishable happiness. Yet, one can seldom experience the phase in life where all our plans are materialized in our favor. While we come across such undesirable moments, a rudimentary emotion that we humans effortlessly slip into is “dejection or despair”. But, is our life merely limited to developing desires, feel happy when it’s achieved and slide into depression when it couldn’t be fulfilled? It’s time to enlighten ourselves to realize that the reason for being born as human beings is much more than just conquering our ‘wants’. The reason to perceive that, ” to be born as humans is a blessing”, is because of the fact that we possess this exceptional power, that is “to feel” the entire package of emotions bestowed upon us by the supreme power, that is not possible for any of his other creations. The ultimate intention of the Almig...
